In August 2022, Metafy brought me on as a freelance designer to create social media ads for their "Text from Dad" campaign. The idea was simple, a text notification from Dad humorously suggesting Metafy coaching after a rough 0-3 loss.

From the initial brief to mockups in Figma, a look at the design process behind Metafy’s 'Text from Dad' campaign.

My role

I designed ad variations for Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads, ensuring they fit iOS and Android styles while meeting different aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, and 9:16). Using Figma, I worked with Metafy’s assets to create multiple versions, incorporating:

  • Different smartphone backgrounds (default iOS/Android wallpapers)
  • Game-inspired visuals (Smash, Rocket League, Valorant)
  • Metafy’s mascot, Meaty

The result? A fun, relatable campaign that resonated with gamers while seamlessly blending into their social feeds.
